OPUS 23

Opus 23 is software that interprets genomic (genetic DNA) data from Ancestry or Genomic Insight.  Opus23 is able to able to translate clinically relevant information based on your DNA and published research data.  The data collected is driven by the specific issues or concerns of each individual.  

BIOME FX STOOL TESTING

The BiomeFX provides a precise picture of how the GI system is functioning based on microbial DNA. It looks at pathogens, yeast, parasites, candida, bacteria diversity, and level of B vitamins. It also looks at the toxins produced by bacteria and tests for various viruses. It also provides the levels of short chain fatty acids.

GI-MAP STOOL TESTING

The GI-map provides a picture of how the GI system is functioning with attention to opportunistic, normal, and autoimmune triggering bacteria. It includes specific markers for GI inflammation, pancreatic function, inflammatory marker for gliadin, immune response; in addition to markers for malabsorption. 

OTHER OPTIONAL TESTS:

• Salivary Cortisol Test: This helps see the trend of cortisol throughout the day.  It can help determine how your body handles stress.

• Organic Acids:  This test measures end products of metabolism

• Nutritional Evaluation:  This helps determine any nutritional deficiencies that could be affecting your body functions.
